Pinetree Autobody began life in a Quonset hut on Pinetree Road, south of town, in 1982. Back then it was a small operation with owner Neil McKenzie and one employee. Today the business sits in an 8100 sq foot building on Franklin Avenue right in Downtown Powell River and has 10 employees.

Due to the high volume of Insurance claims we have closed our front office for the day, Friday May 27. Thank you for your patience, we will resume regular business hours Monday May 30.

ICBC has made it safer to access collision and glass services during the pandemic.

Vehicle sanitizing

ICBC is reimbursing their partners so we can offer the following sanitization services:

•Body shops and glass suppliers are required to sanitize a customer's vehicle before and after repairs.

•Body shops are required to sanitize courtesy vehicles provided to our customers.

We are now allowing a maximum of 2 customers in the office at a time. Signs are posted with the latest updates. Please...

We are now allowing a maximum of 2 customers in the office at a time. Signs are posted with the latest updates.

Please follow the guidelines we have posted. Hand sanitzer is provided and is to be used as you walk in the door. If you're dropping off a vehicle please place your keys in the basket provided rather than handing them to us.

We are not able to offer public washrooms at this time.

We are no longer allowing customers in the office.

Despite the importance of social distancing, the public must have the ability to obtain basic human needs such as food and medical care. Ensuring that their vehicles are able to operate in a safe and efficient manner is just as critical to helping stop the outbreak and controlling the virus.

We are asking that you call ahead and arrange a time to come in for any ICBC estimate or claim. (604) 485-7676 . We also require that you stay in your vehicles while we complete our photos and estimate.

If you do come by there is an open window by the front door that we can speak to you through.

Pinetree is committed to supporting the community. We have increased disinfecting on all communal touch points.

Our technicians have been instructed to wear gloves; a new set for each vehicle.

Our detail department will ensure each vehicle is cleaned and vacuumed with all touch points disinfected.

For those customers who are scheduled or who may need service and choose not to visit our office, we are pleased to provide pick up and drop off services during this uncertain time.

As the effects of COVID-19 are felt throughout the country, the precautionary measures we have set in place will continue to evolve.
