Attention:

Sharing for a customer and also personal friend. This week (Tuesday Aug. 4th) a Thumpstar TSC-140 pitbike was stolen in Ennismore, ON. It is believed the bike was left unattended for an hour or so when it was taken.

It has all black plastics with a blank canvas (no stickers). Note this is the only Thumpstar off-road motorcycle we have sold that has a manual clutch*

Please message me if there is any information on this.

’s Saturday night crash was a very real-world example of the Tech-Air®️ MX System in action. For Justin to come away without any major injury shows the performance of airbag technology, especially with the severity of the crash and subsequent impacts. The graph shown here displays the data from Justin’s system throughout the crash, with a few key points to highlight:

- The airbag deployed 17 hundredths of a seconds after his bike impacted the fellow rider as he was pitched forward.
- 39 hundredths of a second elapsed between full airbag inflation and initial ground contact.
- Initial ground impact peak acceleration measured 27.6 G’s.
- Multiple ~25 G subsequent impacts with the ground as he tumbled.
- Full airbag inflation throughout the 2.7 second crash duration.

This crash was very severe in terms of forces from impacts. We were extremely relieved that Justin was wearing the system as it was able to do its job and keep him relatively safe in a very dangerous situation.
