These pics are when Fred and Jerry Dillon delivered his U-64 Miss Vernors to Warner Grainger in Huntsville, ON. When he arrived he was delighted to see his old Squire Shop hull sitting in Warner's driveway. (NOTE Warner was in his late '80s, early '90s when he bought Fred's boat) .

The story goes that Warner wanted to renegotiate the previously agreed upon sale price for the Vernors so Fred traded him some of the sale price for the old Squire. However for the agreed upon sum Fred was going to keep his custom made green trailer and they loaded the old Squire on to that trailer and the Vernors was loaded on to the trailer that was under the Squire hull.

NOTE that that trailer (the one I have now) was painted yellow underneath the primer and had the original Mercruiser stickers on it from when it was under the U-21 Eliminator hull. (Rumour has it that hull was sold to a fellow in Michigan)

Fred stored the Squire boat and trailer at Morin's shop and as time marched on eventually gave him the hull and trailer to cover storage fees and other favours owed.

Fred and Jerry pulled to old Squire motor out and rumour has it that it was sold to a fellow in Wisconsin.
