Installing “Not Yo Daddy’s” bag guards by on a 2019 Roadglide Special.

Had to cut down the original HD saddle bag rail to install the new guards which are a nicely made product that add a nice touch to any Roadglide.

Finally! after being locked up all year due to covid, I met up with fellow riders at Montreal’s iconic Orange Julep to then ride together towards a good ol’ motorcycle show.

“Proper Baggers” organized a meet at the new “Idle” diy concept garage in the Rosemont neighbourhood of Montreal. It was a great turnout with not only the 70k Baggers making an appearance, but everything else from Sportsters to Dynas to the FXR with its intact and original 85th anniversary paint, one female rider’s extended swing-arm Suzuki Hayabusa and even a Buell with deviant knobby tires.

I was also excited to be able to get out and talk shop with other enthusiasts, like the guys at SPB Fab about their custom exhaust.

After sipping on Idle Garage’s iconic Black Lemonade, we saddled up and left with a roar of rumbling exhaust back into the busy traffic of Jean Talon street and headed home.

It was so satisfying to see all these bikes in real life today after months of virtual pleasure scrolling online...so when’s the next one?!
