For all of my open wheel drivers out there, Velocity Autosports is putting on a charity event on August 26th in the evening. If we can get numbers up for this event, we can get our own run group!

Please contact me if you're interested in running that day. We already have a few cars under the race team that have committed to the date, so we just need a few more! I will be there to provide crewing and coaching for those that paddock with Race Ready Performance that evening. See you out there!

PS. If we can get a regular group together for track days next year, we can assure ourselves some testing and tuning dates between our cub race weekends. We all know how particular open wheel cars can be with getting the proper set up to be dialed in! Cheers!

First practice day for us at Race Ready Performance!
🏎💨🔥🔥🔥

Our new driver to the team, Chris Britten, was getting acquainted to his recently collected RF99. As the day went on Chris was slowly chipping down his lap times. By the end of Friday, Chris was down to a 1:13.4. This is a great time to start with as this chassis, and open wheel in general, is quite new to Chris.

Jeremy Hammond, who is renting our race prepped RF95, managed to get down to a 1:11.2 on an older set of tyres and a dry setup that will require a lot of adjustment to get properly dialed in. This weekend Jeremy will be racing on new slicks, so a second or two is for sure to be gained from tyre alone.

It’s going to be a scorcher this weekend and the FC field will be a total of 12+ cars! Stay tuned!

Our shop has become more im-press-ive with the introduction of a new 20 tonne press! Just in time for a differential bushing job. Thanks to for the great tool.

make some really nice bushings for the 2016 BMW M4 we worked on today. also make an excellent product. The combination of the two tighten up the rear ended of an already well sorted car. Plus you can hear the diff whine between the solid bushings and the poly bushings! Wicked!
