This 1979 Kawasaki KZ750E took a lot longer to finish than I (and especially the customer) would have liked but I like to think it was worth the wait as it turned out very well. 05 R1 front end and back wheel conversion and everything customised in between. His original paint was in great shape and I modded up the back end to shorten in up while trying to maintain the classic KZ look. Another build in the books. BikeBound ™ Custom Motorcycles

It’s coming! This year’s Grand Bend Festival of Speed (Grand Bend Festival of Speed) is happening October 2-4 at the Grand Bend Motorplex raceway. Southwestern Ontario’s vintage motorcycle festival where you’ll see a little bit of everything. The only time you’ll see vintage motorcycle, sidecar and car racing at one event! There’s also vintage motorcycle and car displays, vendors, and of course, the return of my custom motorcycle “side show”. This family friendly event is a must see so mark it on your calendars. Sunday, August 23rd I’ll be at Purdy Natural with my 1974 Honda MT250R vintage race bike to help spread the word about this years Grand Bend Festival of Speed (Grand Bend Festival of Speed) which is happening October 2-4 at the Grand Bend Motorplex. This very nice H2 came in with some running issues (as in it didn’t run on two of the three cylinders). After the owner had a conversation with Pete from Pete's Classic Cycle, he acquired this Rick’s Motorsport Electrics CDI unit and brought it to me for installation. This is a very well built CDI that is literally plug and play. A great upgrade for these old triples, in my opinion. After a quick carb sync with my dads old sync tool, it’s running like a top.
