Can a lease be transferred to someone else?

Not directly. If someone else wants to take over the lease, they would be treated as a new applicant and would need to go through the credit approval process.

The new lease would also be subject to the applicable fees and current rates at the time of the new agreement.

Do leased vehicles come with warranty coverage? 🤔

Short answer: yes, but the lease itself doesn’t create the warranty.

A leased vehicle is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty that comes with the vehicle, just like a vehicle you purchase. If you choose additional coverage, extended warranties or service contracts may also be available.

So leasing doesn’t mean giving up warranty protection. You still have the manufacturer’s coverage that comes with the vehicle.
