Hi Everyone,

Our Fall Colour Cruise is almost here! Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 4th 2026 – we’re looking forward to another beautiful autumn drive with our VW friends. This event is open to all Volkswagens (air-cooled, water-cooled, and electric). It’s also open to all our VW friends in other clubs or groups too, so please feel free to share this invite with anyone who might enjoy the day.

🚗 Cruise Details

Route: About 1 hour and 30 minutes through the scenic Niagara Escarpment, north of Burlington. Expect rolling hills, winding roads, and tree canopies.

Weather: We’re going rain or shine. If the weather isn’t ideal for your VW, you’re welcome to bring your daily driver instead.

🌍 Meeting Points

Waterdown Memorial Park (200 Hamilton St N, Waterdown, ON L0R 2H0)

Arrive before 12:00 PM – we leave sharp at noon for Aberfoyle.

Aberfoyle GO Park & Ride (198–202 Brock Rd S, Guelph, ON N1H 6H9)

Meet us directly there if that’s easier!

Time for fuel-ups, Tim Hortons coffee (and washrooms!) - just down the street, then we’ll depart at 1:00 PM sharp.

🍁 After the CruiseWe’ll end at Joe Sam’s Park (Waterdown) for light refreshments, indoor washrooms, a chance to relax, and catch up with friends.

Paper maps – available onsite at the Go Park & Ride

Follow the VW in front of you. While not fool-proof, at least you are behind another VW. 😂

It's Bug Out #44 - Canada's longest-running VW event. We've been doing this for 44 years and it just keeps getting better!

Today’s the day! Join us for an amazing day of peace, love, and ’dubs with vintage Volkswagens, cool people, food, merch, swap meet treasures, door prizes, and more.

We'll be awarding 38 trophies, plus door prizes every half hour starting at 10:00 am.

Gates open today at 8:00 am.

Bug Out is presented in conjunction with our event partners, the Optimist CLUB of Kitchener-Waterloo, supporting great community causes.

One more sleep!

Tomorrow is Bug Out #44 — Canada’s longest-running VW event!

That means tonight is the night to wash the car, check the oil, pack the lawn chairs, find some cash, and convince yourself that yes, you absolutely do need to look through the swap meet.

Join us tomorrow for a full day of peace, love, and ’dubs with vintage and modern Volkswagens, cool people, food, merch, trophies, door prizes, and plenty of Bug Club good vibes.

Gates open tomorrow at 8:00 am.
Door prizes start at 10:00 am and continue every half hour.

🍗 Philly & Wings — serving up plenty of delicious favourites

Please support these great local vendors who are coming out to help make Bug Out even better!

Both trucks offer electronic payment options, but we recommend bringing cash in case the wireless signal is weak.
