WELL... As always, the weather wasn't the best for the opener Victoria Day Spectacular and that kept some of the fans away. BUT...the racing was great! Standing at the starting line and watching the awesome close racing was good for the heart. For those that couldn't make it, we missed you.... For those that did make it, thank you for a great weekend of close gasser racing. The Saturday show was shortened by rain and by the time the track was ready for racing again that made it impossible to get the full show in. The Saturday "pot" was split three ways between Steve Bedarf, Brian Kresman and Dan Rice. The Sunday show was a different animal with sun and heat and good times racing. Two beautiful Chevies of Brian Kresman and Bill Samons faced each other in the final with the Kresman "Petty Cash" 55 Chev coming out on top. Congratulations, Brian and Bill! GREAT FINAL! BIG thanks goes out to the crew at TMP for working hard all weekend to keep the show running and keeping everyone safe. We can't have that much fun without the hard work of Uli Bieri, Neale Armstrong and Glenn Grow and we appreciate everything they do for all drag racers. Finally, we'd like to thank our awesome sponsors for making it possible to run this little group and have fun doing it!
