Today I am burning a candle for a very special man today, my father in law Peter who would have been 70 years old today. Tragically he died in a truck accident in his early thirties, leaving behind two kids and his wife Helen.
My husband Eddie was very young, only 7 years old, when his father died so I never knew this man personally but I’ve been blessed to connect with him on a spiritual level and hear all the stories about him. In fact, I have little doubt that Pete helped me find my husband. He is always with us, I feel his love and support constantly.
On his birthday there is one thing I know for certain, Peter would want us to celebrate him in the way he lived his life...with determination, joy and a whole lot of courage. He took great risks and moved his family far from where he grew up to give his wife and children a better life. He was a risk taker and a very honourable man. His family was everything to Pete I know how proud he is of his wife Helen and his two children.
Edward James, I know how proud he is of you, how he is overjoyed with the man you have grown into. He’s cheered your successes and held you close through the hard times. You’re so much like him...💖 you’re kind and loved by everyone who knows you. Your funny, intelligent and gentle. Helen Tischer, you’ve done your very best to raise two wonderful children, you’re strong and courageous. We love you so much. 💖
I hope today as a family we remember a man who was remarkable and loved by so many. Happy Birthday Peter, thank you for blessing me with your son. ❤️❤️❤️
