The weather still isn’t on our side so we’ve decided to cancel garbage pickup today. Shoal Harbour garbage will now be picked up tomorrow, March 25.

RESIDENTIAL WASTE COLLECTION POSTPONED

Please be advised that the residential waste collection scheduled for Monday, February 2nd will be postponed due to the impending snow storm. Please do not place your waste cart at the curb tonight or tomorrow. The waste collection dates will move ahead one day for this week only.

The new waste collection dates for this week are:

Clarenville: February 3rd
Shoal Harbour: February 4th

Notice to Clarenville residents: While picking up garbage yesterday on Terra Nova Drive, we dumped a bin that had a vehicle battery, gas can, and jugs of oil in it. Luckily our driver caught it and the items were immediately removed from our truck. This could have been a huge disaster if it had caught fire. This is a reminder to please only dispose of household garbage in your garbage bins.

NOTICE: BULK COLLECTION
Residents are reminded that bulk collection will start this week. Please ensure the following guidelines are followed. Failure to properly sort the bulk waste will result in the waste not being collected by the contractor.

Note: Metals must be placed in a separate pile.
