CSCS Round 2 Recap, it was a disaster. Plagued by constant issues the whole day. That’s what I get for not testing. That noise you hear is my diffuser dragging after ripping out of the mounts, which I can’t actually hear with my ear plugs in. You can also see/hear the car giving a boost cut. Suspected issue with the wastegates as it would overboost at anything above 40% throttle. I was only able to complete 1 lap at a time before coolant temps hit 120°C and the reservoir boiled over. Funny enough I still ended up P14 out of over 100 entries. Clearly the car has some serious potential it just needs some more tweaking. Super Street really showed up at this event and I’m disappointed I didn’t get to perform my best. Kudos to Angevaare Motorsports for cooking me after I talked a whole wack of s**t on their podcast. Next time I’ll save my chirps and come with a better car..

Baseline dyno for a stock tune FA24. Has very minor intake and exhaust work that is mostly noise. Will return with a header and tune hoping for 100whp/L

The final battle from last Sunday! And what a battle it was, Luke, Sheng, and I traded times all weekend. Each of us reset the class record on both track layouts multiple times throughout the event. took the win on day 1 while .autos won day 2. I had to settle for 2nd on both days and while missing out on the win by less than a tenth on Sunday hurts it was truly a privilege to be a part of such close competition. Thanks as always to for keeping me planted and being the secret sauce to the podium this year. Unfortunately I’ll be sitting out round 4, but I’ll be back for the finale at TMP!

Prep underway for round 3. We’ve got rain in the forecast so I decided to source a set of ECS 02’s as a wet setup. These will pull double duty as the street setup going forward. Amazingly they weigh 4lbs less than the factory wheels.

CSCS Round 2 Recap. It was a scorcher! Temperature peaked at 36° and felt like 47° I don’t think a single competitor would tell you it was an easy one. I knew right away that the first session of the day was going to be the most favouring so I immediately pushed hard. First lap out was a 1:22 banker lap but I wanted more and after getting greedy on the exit of turn 9 I had a minor off track excursion that resulted in zero damage but me owing some grass. Other than eating a fender liner from in the next session the remainder of qualifying was pretty uneventful. The goal for the day was a 1:19 which was pretty much impossible due to the conditions. Fortunately I was able to put together a decent lap in the final and a 1:20.7 was good enough for P3. I also picked up my 1st place plaque for the 2024 PT championship. Couple small tweaks in store for round 3, need to keep and .drives honest.
