These tires come off a GMC Sierra truck. The customer bought the truck with these tires, but wanted more aggressive tires instead. So these tires have about 10 km on them he figured and 10/32nds tread.

New, these GT Radial Savero HT2 tires will run you at about 162$ each plus tire tax.

☝️So you wouldn't really want to go anywhere like that and ruin your rotors. 💵
This customer just came in to get new tires installed and ended up needing new brake pads. 🙈
It's not every time that your mechanic try's to rip you off. Sometimes you actually need what he's telling you. 😉😂

Do you hear knocking, clicking, or banging when accelerating and taking a turn?

It might be because of a broken cv-joint on your axle.

Your axle brings the power from your engine to the wheels. And if it brakes, you won't have any power going to the wheels anymore. That means, you won't be able to move.

The cv-joint is protected by a rubber boot. If the boot rips, water and dirt can come in, while grease can escape. That will cause the cv-joint on your axle to brake.

Very often you can catch a tiny tear in the boot covering the cv-joint and just replace the boot, before more damage occurs.

It is just another item you should always look at when your doing your periodically maintenance.
