Last Minute Racing

Today’s the day! Last race of the year. Jase is hunting to stay in the points lead and secure the championship while Hudson hunts for another podium finish. We will have some special people joining us tonight in the pits and none of this could be possible without our great partners Harmony Homes and Reddom Construction

It was another action packed night at the track. Track conditions were favourable and the boys were excited.

Heat race

Hudson started the heat in 4th and made quick work getting around the first kart. Driving hard he managed to slide up into second where he would finish.
Jase started dead last of a 5 car field. On the drop of the green flag he stormed to the outside holding his line and passing 2 in turns 3 and 4. After a caution one kart retired with mechanical issues. Back to green and Jase would yet again set his sights on the lead. Coming to the white flag he was able to drive under the leader and take the checkered flag
During the intermission the crew would go to work getting Hudson and Jase’s karts dialled in for an all out war in the features.
Hudson would start 4th of 8 in the feature and quickly move up to 3rd. Fending off a few karts trying to pass Hudson kept pushing and on the last lap the 2nd place kart spun out giving Hudson yet another 2nd place finish. He drove a great race and were happy to see him on the podium again this week.
Jase would start 4th of 5 again jumping to the outside. This time he would not complete the pass and have to change his line. Lap after lap he tried to get a good run at halfway it came. Getting by another kart leaving him chasing the top 2. Squeezing in down the back stretch Jase secured second where he would finish after a hard fought battle for the lead. Jase drove a clean and respectable race and are so proud of him for his hard work and drive.

What a night at the track.

🏎️ Hudson #8

Hudson rolled off 4th in his heat race and methodically worked his way forward, picking off a position to finish 3rd. That was only the beginning.

Starting on the outside front row for the feature, Hudson wasted no time getting to the front, taking the lead on lap 2. After several cautions and intense restarts, he defended the bottom groove with everything he had. The pressure never let up, but neither did Hudson. He crossed the line in an incredible 2nd place. His determination, racecraft, and composure continue to amaze us. We couldn’t be more proud.

Jase started 4th in his heat race, charged to 3rd by the first corner, and battled a slick racetrack to finish there. The kart wasn’t where it needed to be, so the crew got to work, making the adjustments that would change everything.

Starting the feature from the outside of row two, Jase wasted no time, driving into 2nd on the opening lap. A restart shuffled him back to 3rd, but patience became his greatest weapon. He hugged the bottom, waiting for the opportunity.

At halfway, it came.

The secHarmony Homest Reddom Constructioner, drifted high, and Jase slipped underneath to take 2nd.

Now the hunt was on.

With five laps to go, the leader held a comfortable six kart-length advantage. Lap after lap, Jase reeled them in. The gap disappeared. The crowd came alive.

White flag. One lap. One chance.

Heading into the final corners, Jase dove to the inside, completed the pass for the lead, and powered off the corner to take the checkered flag.

THREE. IN. A. ROW. 🏆🏆🏆
