If you have a dog in a public housing unit you need to firstly get special permission from the Housing association.
It is also your responsibility to clean up after your dog as this is part of your tenancy agreement to keep the lot clear and is potentially harmful to others. It also cannot in any way block access to the unit.
If these steps are not followed warnings will be given.

The housing office phones are down at the moment, and we are waiting for a technician to come in from Inuvik tomorrow, so they are likely going to be down until Monday. To place a work order please call 867-978-2374 between the hours of 8am and 4;45pm.

From next Tuesday May 24th, the maintenance team will be coming around in order to service boilers and furnaces, check fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and also inspect the condition of units.

The housing minister Paulie Chinna will be paying Aklavik a visit this week on Wednesday the 6th of April, she will be at the complex from 4:30pm until 7pm

Please make sure that your sewage and water pump outs are kept clear of snow and any other stuff, otherwise the trucks will be unable to deliver water or sewage.
