GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY - COMPUTERISED DRIVER TESTING GROUND

The Ministry of Transport and Communications through the Department of Road Transport and Safety will hold ground breaking ceremony for the computerisation of driver testing grounds in Gaborone at Maruapula testing grounds on the 23rd January 2015.

The Minister of Transport and Communications Hon. Tshenolo Mabeo will officiate.

The computerization of driver testing grounds will reduce customer complaints and eliminate issues of corruption.Maximization use of this facility will also reduce the waiting period for acquisition of a driver’s license as well as produce quality drivers which will result in the reduction of road traffic accidents and improved road safety management.

It is worth noting that this project is the first of its kind in Africa
