🏁 Major Service - Plugs / LM Oil/ Filters
🏁 Tuppet Cover Sealing
TSI ENGINES LOVE GOOD OIL CIRCULATION AND NO LEAKS. The minute you start having leaks, it's bye bye
3 Main Culprits of Low oil Pressure causes ( in relation to oil leaks ) -
1. TUPPET COVER - Factory seal is very thin and wears out quickly, you start to have oil plugs and around the cylinder head base. Your car consumes a lot of oil without even noticing where its going
2. TIMING PLASTIC COVER SEAL - Its plastic , we cant expect it to last forever , do it every 80k to 100k 👏. It hardens and may crack. You will see oil seepage around the cover and around the cam sensors.
3. LOWER TIMING COVER + CRANK PULLEY SEAL - factory seal still very thin. . .oil leaks at the bottom or around the sump can be mistaken for sump leaks when its the actual lower timing cover. . Seal it with a good sealant and the pulley seal.
Simply do all 3 every 80-100k. Or 60k if you push your car often. . . Remember these engines get really hot. Say bye bye to mysterious low oil pressure problems caused by small maintenance issues 😕.
