Think you’ve seen every winter maintenance tip? Think again. ❄️
Here are a few checks the pros swear by when the temperature drops:

• Warm up fluids before draining. Cold oil traps sludge and metal particles. A short warm-up ensures a cleaner flush and better refill quality.

• Inspect vent lines and seals. Moisture can freeze in transmission or differential breathers, leading to pressure build-up and leaks.

• Check additive strength. Cold weather accelerates oxidation and fuel dilution. Weak additives mean faster wear keep an eye on change intervals.

• Look for ice in cooler lines. Transmission and brake lines exposed to road spray can freeze internally, restricting flow under load.

These small details make a big difference in performance and reliability when winter hits.
