Types of Thread lockers & Their Usage:
A thread locker is an anaerobic adhesive applied to threaded fasteners such as bolts, nuts, and screws. It prevents loosening caused by vibration and enhances the reliability of assemblies.
🔵 1. Low Strength
Ideal for small screws and adjusting fasteners. Can be easily removed with standard hand tools when needed.
🟣 2. Medium Strength
One of the most common grades for general-purpose applications. Offers a good balance between vibration resistance and future disassembly.
🔴 3. High Strength
Designed for permanent or difficult-to-remove fastening. Used in high-vibration and heavy-duty assemblies.
🟠 4. High-Temperature Grade
Developed for assemblies where fasteners are exposed to elevated temperatures.
🟢 5. Wicking Grade
Due to its low-viscosity formulation, it can pe*****te into already-assembled fasteners via capillary action.
