34 Ford Coupe

This car came to Racebred to get a couple things sorted out but ended up leaving with a whole new look on the interior. All the Gauges have been changed to Autometer Pro-Comp Ultra Lite gauges which transformed the look! At the same time the gauges had been rewired to allow easy removal for the dash board too. The fuel level sender was also rectified and set up to accurately read the correct fuel level.

Maurice’s beautiful Camaro underwent a full rewire around 18 months ago from Racebred A.E.S

Some of the features of this rewire include twin thermo fans to keep the Performance Specialities built big block chev cool, complete MSD ignition system, Aeromotive intank fuel pump, an assortment of Autometer gauges and LEDs fitted to the cluster for indicator, high beam and oil pressure warning.

Quick little wiring job done on 8 second VL. More data is always great to have especially when there is plenty of I/O on the Holley Dominators, the car now has front wheel speed as well as a tailshaft speed sensors fitted (by Blake) and Racebred wired them into the ECU and configured the sensors. An added bonus of adding the wheel speed sensor enabled the car to finally have a working speedometer too.

3D printed K type thermocouple bulkheads coming soon.

When using the Holley 8 channel egt kit there is not really a clean way to run the thermocouple wiring through the firewall of a vehicle so Racebred AES has come up with this. You may think that similar products are already on the market and you are correct but as I found out with current exchange rates and shipping it is not very price or time efficient hence why we have drawn up our own. The last photo shows you a similar design and how the product works. Keep in mind this will work with all k type thermocouple plugs, not just Holley.

This is still a prototype and I will keep you updated when the final product is released.

Turbo LS VC Commodore

A couple of years ago now Racebred got to work on this beautiful VC commodore, consisting of a stock LS1, Borg Warner 80mm turbo and powerglide combo. Along the way there were a few questionable things found on the car when the owner bought it and with Racebred’s help these problems were resolved resulting in getting the Commodore up and running ready to get tuned. Paul Pavlou Motors supplied the base tune and also eventually dyno tuned the car making 450rwkw @ 15psi on pump e85.

Work performed

- Gauges wired up

- Fuel pump wiring removed and rewired

- Transbrake wired up

- Battery and alternator rewired

- Existing engine harness simplified and resleeved

- Dual fuel pump hanger assembled and wired with Walbro pumps

- Various PTFE AN lines made

- Various small wiring issues resolved along the way

- Battery relocation behind passenger seat (customers request)

- Twin 044 fuel pumps in surger tank wired up

- Transmission cooler fan wire up with temperature switch

- Intake air temperature sensor wiring harness extension

- Assortment of autometer gauges wired in and fitted, trans temp, water temp, oil pressure and 02 gauge (Customer supplied)

- Turbosmart E-Boost 2 electronic boost controller fitted (Customer supplied)
