You guys had a lot of ideas when I asked you what you use to remove rubber from the paint, cheers 🀝

Now because I'm tight, and it's a nugget, I was just gonna send the brake cleaner/WD40 type suggestions but Declan insisted we try the Zoo Performance stuff instead and I said OK, but we will test it objectively against those.

I did not expect this fancy little boxed package to rock up with all these other goodies to try thanks Declan! 🀝I'm used to rolling into supercheap, grabbing some Meguires Wash and Wax and sending it, so this stuff all looks very swish to me - the Microfibre towel is very timely and looks/feels great - keen to test that one on the Crown!

The big question is, how will the rubber remover perform?

Is anyone else using any of these products and having success? The Armour one looks very interesting. I hadn't heard of Zoo until now but I see the page has got like 11k followers 🀯

Track day report is in!

If you just want the headlines, no, there was no PB this time, yes the car feels good/better to me, but track conditions made life hard.

Kept it on the black stuff and the car in one piece so we'll take that as a win πŸ˜…

Vid in the comments very quickly covers/includes;

- Best time/round results
- How'd the Alignment go?
- Did the Rep Wing explode/suck?
- How are those Anti-Dive brackets?
- Best lap of the day onboard
- B-roll footage off offs/whoopsies

Check that out below ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Great day out as usual, always enjoy putting faces to names and catching up with the regulars 🀝

To the guys in the swift with the rad z31 wheels, Yes, I will absolutely come do an enduro with you πŸ˜…

Know the owner of these cool cars? Tag away.

For the 86 gang, a set of 3d printed plugs that will fill the stock boot holes when you remove a factory spoiler.

3 different sizes, each is labelled, and can be resized if you want an interference fit, suggest you silicone them in, but I'm not the boss of you πŸ˜…

I promised you guys one more cheeky mod before Winton this weekend and here it is πŸ˜…

Behold Ali's finest replica wing! πŸ˜‚

I gotta say, aesthetically, I like it a lot. Quality is decent enough, note the blemish pictured, and the mounts and uprights seem sturdy πŸ‘Œ

Well that alignment absolutely sucked a phat one, but it's done 🫠

- Reduced rake
- Droop reset
- Spring preloads reset
- Camber reset
- Toe reset
- Sway bar preloads checked
- Anti dive brackets added (10mm to start with)

Done with my ballast in the driver seat, some fuel onboard, and tyres at pressure.

All that only to see THIS weather forecast for Saturday, FMD πŸ˜…

In better news, getting this done does leave me with enough time for 1 more cheeky mod I wanna test, Pics to come πŸ˜‰

Well none of you guessed what was in the box and now they're fitted and ready for testing πŸ‘Œ

These gktech.com anti dive brackets should stop the nose diving so much under hard braking, without the need to bump spring rate or compression.

The hope is that this will help keep the rear more planted during that initial braking and turn in phase, not hard to remove if I don't like it πŸ€”

- Zip the 19mm's off from the original bracket.
- Remove the other LCA bolt (17mm) and swing the LCA out of the way
- Remove factory stud (15mm)
- Insert the bush spacer (unless you've gone spherical already).
- Fit new bracket with spacers above or below (location of spacers is what tunes anti-dive percent and I am trying 10% on a lowered car)
- Refit other LCA bolt
- You're done βœ…

Clears everything nicely.

Alignment next!
