Ripper weekend up in Sydney - struggled a bit in race 1 but moved forward in races 2 & 3, taking out 1st in Floorpan and 3rd overall for our ASSA championship, and in the middle of a busy National grid. Default PB in the 1:37's has me quite happy for the LS1's first visit there and some awesome dicing with the other S chassis fellows as well.

Massive thanks to the crew of guys with me, car was turned around like clockwork and even had Alex Batchelor join us down from Qld for the weekend who helped get the flame tune popping for the night races.

Massive thanks to Tas and his family at AUTOHAUS VEHICLE STORAGE & Palace Automotive, and the guys at Proloom Motorsport for all the support this year.

For once we've got a bit of time up our sleeves before our next round in October so let's see what upgrades we can get done before then!

The re-shell on the Excel entering its final assembly stage. After a major shunt at the Bathurst 6 Hour the new car has gotten a Racetech 4119 with custom seat mounts using some nice laser cut brackets from .of.hoon

Up and down weekend at Victorian State Race Series with a stupid move by yours truly costing me 2 broken driveshafts and a DNF on Saturday.

Come Sunday though the rain dance was on - making it from rear of grid up to 6th in the National Sports Sedan Series and 2nd of the Victorian Sports Sedan Championship across the 2 races.

Some footage from Race 3 here can see how slippery certain parts of the track were (going off line costs a lot of grip 😬)
