It all makes sense now, Charlie!

Just as you were taking the three of us back to Vic Roads you gave way to the bloke limping across the pedestrian crossing (good job)…

However, the second he saw you he ran / hobbled the rest of the way as if his life depended on it!

Me: “Geez Charlie, it’s almost as if you’ve run that bloke over before!”

Charlie: 😁

Tester: “Ah yes, he’s just seen Charlie and recognized him!”

Me: “I knew it! Charlie has ran him over before!”

Charlie: “It was two weeks ago though.”

😂😂😂

That’s fair enough, mate - that bloke definitely over reacted then 🤣

It’s probably fair to say you quickly realized we were gifted a tester with a kind heart and a ripper sense of humour, Elizabeth!

We did mention to her tester that you are studying to become a teacher.

So I hope you didn’t mind me saying that if you caught her in your mirror not sitting up straight you’d get her in trouble 🤣

(By the way, did she sit up straight? I’ll let her know if she’s in trouble or not tomorrow morning 😆)

It’s all happening, Lara!

You have a massive game of Footy with the Eastern Ranges coming up this weekend - a preliminary final against the undefeated Dandenong Stingrays !!!

You’ve also represented Vic Metro along the way and no doubt a few AFLW talent scouts have been impressed with your consistency and that big kick of yours (in fact they have!) 🙌

There was a lot at stake at Pakenham East Vic Roads on Friday afternoon, Amy…

The pressure was on!

The pressure wasn’t on you though…you had put all of the pressure onto me!

If you didn’t pass, you’d be giving me a bad review 😂😂

So it’s fair to say that after 23 minutes, 18 seconds and 9.34 km’s of safe, legal and well controlled driving we were both very relieved that you had done more than enough to pass your drive test with ease 😮‍💨😅

A few standouts for you:

✅ Your awareness is excellent

✅ Your gap selection is perfect

✅ Your roundabout judgement is spot on

But my favourite standout?

✅ ** We have just pulled to the curb for Michael Jordan (tester) to do your stage one scoring **

Michael: “Ok Amy, I’m just going to do your stage one scoring for you. Make sure you have a few breaths!”

Me: “He will take a mark off you if you don’t breathe, Amy!”

Amy: ** Breathes in and out as quickly and loudly as she can (sort of like a dog panting 🤣) **

Michael (laughing): “Now you’ve made me lose count, Amy!”

🤣🤣🤣

Oh well, at least you didn’t lose a mark for not breathing.

I reckon you’ve been looking forward to this weekend more so than you have for any other in a very long time, Phoebe!

Why?

Because you can go exactly where you want to go and exactly when you want to go there without being dependent upon anybody else whatsoever 🙌

It will feel surreal for a little while, and you will probably feel like you are breaking the law (maybe a familiar feeling for you, Phoebe?😁) whilst driving around on your own to begin with. But oh, how incredibly exciting 🙌

Yep, you are officially an independent woman 🎉
