Maxx Sims n Slot Cars Family Fun Centre Enduro Event.

We spent last weekend at Port Macquarie , racing in their enduro event . As always Lyndon and Libby hosted a fantastic event on their beautiful track. When Libby wasnt racing she was preparing scrumptious meals to feed us ravenous racers. The next time you see an event being run at their centre make sure to attend , you wont be sorry.
The weekends racing was dominated by Maxx racing , who won both the 8 hour DTM class on Saturday and the 4 hour retro can am class on Sunday. Team Wombat put up a dismal performance in the DTM class finishing in a distant last place , due to having one completely inept team member , this result was turned around on the Sunday after they sacked that driver and replaced him with a proper racer , they came home with a wet sail to finish in a commendable 2nd place.

Results of Stumpy's Birthday Race

It was another great day of close racing at Redline Raceway on Saturday as we all got together to help Stumpy celebrate his birthday. Once again it was a terrific roll up with large fields in all 3 races. Thank you all for making the effort to come along and make it the great day that it was , we had drivers from as far as Sydney , Bathurst and Taree. Thank you to Dave Watson for making a delicious apple cake and to Casey for being race director for most of the day. The barbecue lunch was as tasty as usual , a big thank you to the chefs. After the race some of us continued celebrating with Stumpy over an excellent meal at the Farmers Hotel at Vacy.
