Northern Nats 10 ft Tropical Meltdown !
Well where to start. After we had such a good weekend at Summernats goes Troppo. And a very persistent Bessie asking if we were going about 3 times. We made a very late decision to enter the friday before NN10 😂.
Friday night the car performed like it always does and a safe drive by myself and a chute that was asking to be done. I didnt want to force the car up there and make a mistake on night 1 so i let it go.
Saturday it was on. Joyride felt even better behind the wheel. Drove smoother. Straight up the chute. Fast and crossed up heading in but perfect for how i wanted to get in and out of it. Deep into every other corner and part of the pad. I was absolutely stoked.
Then we had a slight worry sunday morning. Oil pressure guage reading 40psi more at idle 😨 after checking all we could we found the guage to be faulty. Holding psi even after i pulled the braided line off.
So we went out sunday for the 3rd and final skid. And i was stoked again. Car felt amazing. Back up the chute in a cloud of pink. Im still not sure how i pulled it off.
After all 3 skids..We took out the Opens class !! 🤟🏻🤟🏻
