1986 Mazda RX7

One of the biggest projects Kash Paintworks has ever taken on. This RX7 came to us with its best days well behind it. Not many shops would have taken on a job of this magnitude, and at stages throughout the job we thought even we had aimed a bit too high.

After nearly 10 months since its arrival at our workshop we can finally give it back to the client. It was great watching the client see his pride and joy become everything he had dreamed of.

Management here at Kash are super impressed and proud of the crew here, especially James, who have gone above and beyond to make this happen.

I won’t put up the before photos today, we will just appreciate this piece of art as it is today.

1966 Ford Mustang

A nice and clean Mustang always catches the eye. This one came in with a few cosmetic issues that needed attention and a paint refresh. We encountered a few unexpected issues along the way but the end result was worth the extra work.

LARC-V

We do a lot of military vehicles here, but this one was a different thing for us. As always the boys did a great job.

AS350 Squirrel

This has to be one of the most ambitious jobs we have ever completed. A full respray interior and exterior. This took months of hard work, as this came to us in pieces, but for end results like this it makes it worthwhile. A big job by all the team, especially James who did 99% of the paint work, including all the line work. We are very happy with the results and so is the client.

This makes us happy in all the right places.

Unbridled power. Unyielding downforce. Unapologetic American spirt. Street-legal, track-ready supercar power with Mustang soul. Meet the first-ever Ford Must...

1968 Ford Fairlane ZB

This has been hanging around the workshop challenging us for years. A full nuts and bolts rebuild and about 2000 (probably more, we stopped counting) hours labour I am happy to say is finally road registered.

Build team: Shannon Middleton, Scott Douglas, James Kay, Adrian ‘AJ’ Jackson, Danny Cincotta, Laurence Gamble, Robbie Middleton.

1974 Kawasaki Z1A 900cc “kwaka 900”

This nearly 50 year old classic came in for a refresh and damage repairs. The photos don’t do the paintwork any justice, with a purple and green metallic fleck through the black.

1967 XR Fairmont

With a very limited budget and very short turnaround we managed to get this XR looking good after 10 years of sitting on a trailer after an accident.
