No rest for the workshop! Getting it done on a Sunday and this CAT 735 rebuild is looking the goods. 💪

A lot of work has gone into getting her to this stage — nearly ready to get back out there and earn her keep.

⚡ Plenty of variety at Clark Diesel! ⚡

No two days are ever the same, and there's not much we won't have a go at.

This week we're bringing several large CAT generators back to life after they've been laid up for years. Once repairs are complete, each set will undergo a full 8-hour load test using a 1,200 kW load bank to ensure they're ready to return to reliable service.

We're excited to be completing this project for a new customer and look forward to building a strong working relationship.

A big thanks to Metalrig for the crane work and Nortrans for transporting these generators safely to our workshop. Great to work alongside local companies that get the job done right.

Looking for a change? We're currently hiring Diesel Fitters, with the choice of a 4 days on, 3 days off roster or a standard Monday to Friday work week. Get in touch!

Investing in the next generation of tradesmen. 👊🔧

Our 3rd year apprentice Ryan getting stuck into a 140H transmission rebuild. We believe the best way to learn is by getting hands-on experience, working alongside experienced tradesmen on real-world jobs.

At Clark Diesel, we put a lot of time and effort into training our apprentices and developing the next generation of skilled diesel fitters. It's great to see Ryan building his knowledge and confidence with every job.

Keep up the good work, mate. The future is looking bright! 💪.

Been a while since we have posted some rebuild photos. She’s all coming back together now and looking schmick. 💪🔧 Plenty of work gone into this one, but the finish line is starting to come into view.

One build out, the next build in 🔧

This 735 Cat Moxy rolled through the doors looking seriously worse for wear — but that’s nothing a full rebuild can’t fix.

The front frame has been completely stripped and is now being rebuilt from the ground up. Out the back, it’s getting plenty of attention too — from diff and wheel-end rebuilds, complete suspension replacment right through to a full re-hose.

Big job, but that’s what we’re here for 💪
