🔧 WE’RE HIRING – HEAVY DIESEL & PLANT MECHANICS 🔧

HMS is currently expanding our team and has multiple opportunities available for experienced Plant / Heavy Diesel Mechanics.

We are looking for:

• 1 x Plant / Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team in Warners Bay, with a January 2027 start
• Multiple Heavy Diesel / Plant Mechanics for mine site contract work, with immediate starts available

We’re looking for reliable, experienced tradespeople who take pride in their work, have a strong focus on safety, and can work well independently and as part of a team.

Depending on the role, duties may include:
• Servicing, repairs and maintenance of heavy plant and machinery
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Preventative maintenance
• Workshop and mine site work
• General mechanical repairs and maintenance

📍 Workshop role – Warners Bay
📅 Workshop start – January 2027
⛏️ Mine site contract roles – Immediate start

🔧 MECHANIC SHOUTOUT! 🔧

A while ago, we put the call out for a mechanic to help service and maintain our fleet of machines, and the team at Heavy Mechanical Solutions jumped at the opportunity!

Josh Leon and his team came in, sorted out what needed to be done, and got straight into it! 💪

With Josh being a former member of the club many moons ago, and having won one of his first Australian Championships right here at our track, it only seemed fitting to have him back around the club helping us out. 🏆

A massive THANK YOU to Josh and the entire team at Heavy Mechanical Solutions NSW Pty Ltd for getting stuck in and helping keep the club’s machines running! We really appreciate your support. 🙌

We are seeking Heavy Diesel or Plant Mechanics to be contracted to mine sites, primarily Ravensworth Open Cut.

✔ Good wages

✔ Company vehicle may be available for the right candidate
✔ Opportunity for trade upgrade if you hold one qualification

🚛 Field Service Truck Mechanic – Warners Bay NSW

We are also looking for a highly qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to run our Field Service Truck.

📍 Based in Warners Bay NSW, with travel to attend breakdowns and jobs supporting our employees.

This role would suit someone who is:

Highly experienced, especially with trucks and buses

Trustworthy and reliable

Able to work independently and manage field service work

Safety-focused with strong diagnostic skills

Option to work four days

To all our wonderful clients, thank you for your incredible support throughout 2025. We truly appreciate every booking, referral, and kind word.

We have some bittersweet news to share.
Our Toronto workshop will be closing, with our final day of trading on site being 5 January 2026.

What’s next?
Our workshop will be relocating to Warners Bay.
We understand this may be inconvenient for some of our loyal clients.
To better support you, we have set up a permanent breakdown and mobile service truck, allowing us to come to you more often and more efficiently.
