⚡️Classic 80's Toyota 🤝 2024 Technology ⚡️

Had the privilege of getting to wire up this little darling KE70, and what a ripper she is!

Utilising a Haltech elite 1500 we wired an array of inputs inc:
⚡️DBW
⚡️Oil pressure
⚡️Oil temp
⚡️Fuel pressure
⚡️Fuel temp
⚡️Flex fuel
⚡️Knock sensor
⚡️External map
⚡️WBC1
All data viewed through an IC7 display. All supplied by the legends at Goleby's Parts
Another really neat point is the CAN keypad, which allows cruise control and push button start along with some other spicy features.

Owner, Ben has done an exceptional build and is a real credit to him, well done mate! Looking forward to seeing you enjoy your hard work.

As 2023 comes to an end, I would like to thank each and every one of our customers, friends, family and suppliers who have supported KPS in our first full 12 months of business.
Had the privilege of doing some really awesome jobs this year and looking forward to seeing what 2024 brings. 😎☺️ Hopefully some more cool Toyota's!

Just need block, crank. Bonus points for an oil pump, but not necessary.
Alternatively if someone has a good one I can borrow for a week or so, that could also work.

🔥J O B - D O N E🔥
Definitely a few hectic weeks getting everything all finished up with the JZA80 but we got it all done with 1 day to spare 💪😅
Allowing the owner to take it out on its maiden boosted voyage to Port Macquarie.
After we finished of our end of the build it was off to Madoc Tuning for Jesse to rattle the fingers on the laptop.
What an animal of car it is! Overall a great set-up for a street car with Jesse making it sing 650hp on just 21psi (e85) with a bit of wheel spin on the dyno. Should be spicy when we put the other 9 psi in 🙊

Huge thanks to Ezra for absolutely nailing the intercooler pipe work and Nick for lending a hand at short notice to come hold up some exhaust when I ran out of hands!

Another mention is the legends Goleby's Parts. I think I lost count of the trips I made to grab stuff the boys and girls going out of their way to assist every time.

Super good feeling to have it all done, happy to catch up on some lost sleep this week after some late nights, and I hope the owner enjoys the new found power and tech.

💥Crocs and Socks💥
Now I have your attention, time for a weekly Supra update.
This week we got the engine bits back from the legends at Precise Engines and we got into assembling the top end.
New valve spring tool made life a million times easier when installing the Kelford Cams valve springs. New Kelford lumpy sticks in and shimmed finishes off the top end ready to bolt it to the bottom end next week.

As promised, we also got the final bits of the puzzle from Goleby's Parts inc the Plazmaman Racing intake and Radium Engineering fuel pump hanger, both some awesome quality bits of gear.

Next week we should have a bottom end together and also be nearly finished with the forbidden spaghetti that is the wiring harness.

⚡️Weekly JZA update ⚡️
Bit slower this week as we wait for some of the final peices of the puzzle to arrive, however we did receive a love package from Platinum Racing Products which certainly made the workshop bench look alot nicer 🤩
Other than that we finished up welding out the dump pipe and modified the 2JZGE Sump into a GTE.
Hopefully a few more flash bits to show off next week 🙏.

Been a hot minute since we have been on the socials, I usually forget to take pictures as I go 🤦
2023 has started with all things spicy JZ and the latest car in the shed is no exception. A big build ahead with a 2jzge+T JZA80 Supra with a heap of fruit from the ledgends at Goleby's Parts. Ill endeavour to keep some more regular updates as we progress through the build 💪.
