Bike engine had massive engine failure on Sat.
Limped it home abt 20kms on 1 cylinder to repair shop.

News pretty much as expected for bike, so I’m holding out hope šŸ™‚

Issue was bent valve. (So not destroyed block or anything).
They are going to look for a decent 2nd hand motor from a wrecker, etc for me for a couple of weeks and if no go, look into costs of replacing top end components.

2nd hand motor would be best option, espec. Since I have over 110,000kms on my engine and new one would probably only have 50 or so šŸ™‚
And replacement parts to fix would probably take a couple of months to ship into Aus.

So.. as I said to the guy, if we can fix it for $2-3000 that would be workable. Over $5-6000 would be silly.

Keep you in the loop šŸ™‚

Been having an issue with my GPS speedo (used due to different pulleys and rear tyre sizes) - sorry about video quality...
Finally got around to taking it apart and there was a VERY pleasing CLICK! As I pushed the electrical connector back into its housing!
I'm calling that FIXED!... I'll update you next week when I find it hasn't done a darn thing. Ha! :-)
