Scott Newman takes us back to a special time, the launch of the 911 2.7 RS
With only 500 cars announced at launch and those cars selling within two months of the car’s reveal on October 5, 1972, at the Paris Motor Show, the 911 2.7 RS was a hit. Customers were falling over themselves to get their hands on this new road-racer and the final production tally was 1580 by the time production ceased in July 1973.

Live at Auction: 1993 Nissan Skyline R32 Only 54,000 km’s with books

This 1993 Nissan Skyline GT-R is a notably original example of the celebrated R32 generation, finished in Gun Grey Metallic over its factory dark grey cloth interior and displaying 56,413 km. Recently imported from Japan, it retains its original Japanese warranty and service book and is presented in what the seller advises is completely stock factory specification.

Its original Nissan warranty booklet identifies chassis BNR32-305911, model code KBNR32 RXFS7 AA and paint code KH2, corresponding with the Gun Grey Metallic finish seen today. The booklet records commencement of the Japanese warranty on 14 December 1993 and identifies Nissan Prince Saitama as the supplying dealer. Early inspection entries are also present, including one recording the car at 3,148 km
