And another epic result! This time from SuperStock Ambassador and RC MAKER driver Christopher Mitchell .smashing out a double win at the Western Australian state titles. The WA track is a medium to higher grip track for Australian conditions but likely considered low to medium grip for europe, potentially comparable to grip at tracks in Japan? 🤔 His setup is included here below, check it out

What an event! The Bendigo Classic at Bendigo On Road Radio Control Car Club Inc. Has been run and won. This event was in a lot of ways preperation for the upcoming Victorian State Titles at this same track. To say that anyone was prepared for the level of low grip we had in the first two days of practice is an understatement. A heavily rain effected race with on and off showers from Thursday to Saturday meant practice was sporadic and "you get what you can" when it came to track time. Those that came to practice weeks prior were met with a totally different level of track grip. It's fair to say, we all scrambled to find what worked.

SuperStock Ambassadors Justin Vergunst and Sandy Iavazzo locked in podiums with Justin getting third in 13.5t and Sandy getting 1st in mod with a car setup not as close to ideal as he would of liked. Justin's qualifying was impacted by the slippery conditions, but come Sunday his car looked Excellent. Sandy noted that there's more to find setup wise with the SP2 at this track but never the less he locked in that 1 spot.

Lachlan Pearson from qld put in a stellar performance to get 1st in 13.5t with special mention to local big guns, Scott Rawlings who pumped out a very well driven performance for second.

Another special mention goes to "ANONYMOUS DRIVER, Aka," World Champion" Chris K who put in an epic drive in 13.5t after pulling out of 21.5t and moving to stock. Chris put in minimal effort all weekend, keeping things easy and uncomplicated yet managed to finish 7th after qualifying 4th. The finals in 13.5t were at times, a bit rough though, so Chris came out second best at times. Thanks Chris for the setup help ❤️❤️👍👍.

For myself, I finished second in the B's after throwing away a win in B3 with a dumb mistake. I used the final's to test setups for the vics. A notable performance was that my B2 overall time would of put me finishing second in A2 finals!

This event was a HUUUUUUGE learning curve on ultra low grip setup. I'm glad I stuck it out till the end, as I did toy with the idea of giving up after getting almost no practice time.

SuperStock would like to announce that we have hit a huge milestone! We have been selected by Avalon Racing to be the importer and distributer of Avalon Racing products for Australia😎🤝. It has been less that one year that SuperStock has been in exustance and this show of trust from Avalon means a lot to us.

SuperStock will be developing a wholesale price list document outlining prices per shell, bundle packs as well as other exclusive offers available to all retail hobby stores in Australia. This document will be finalised soon and we will be contacting stores throughout the month of October. If you are interested in setting up a wholesale account with us, you can also email us by scanning the QR code. Our aim is to provide incredibly competitive prices, excellent after sales services and we want to see Avalon stocked in as many stores across Australia as possible.

These POM plastic shims are the perfect option when running 1.5mm or 1.6mm Top Decks which are secured with ST019 screws.
Since the ST019 screw neck is designed for the standard 2.0mm top decks, these shims compensate for the difference in thickness to ensure a proper fit.

Note that carbon thickness can vary slightly!
If your top deck measures around 1.65mm, the fit may be tight and a small amount of grinding of the shim may be required.
Thanks to the POM plastic material, this is a quick and easy operation.
