Just another reason why routine maintenance and servicing is so important. This is a customers telehandler that hadn’t had the air cleaner serviced in months, working everyday in bull dust the filter and housing was that blocked that it sucked in and split the rubber elbow on the intake pipe that was already perished due to age allowing all that dust straight into the turbo. Luckily it was caught when it was but ultimately could have been avoided had it been serviced regularly, these problems would have been found and fixed.

Couple brake jobs I’ve done lately due to sized wheel cylinders and and worn out linings , nails and random bolts aren’t brake shoe retainers! The two most important functions on any vehicle are to stop and steer do it once do it right don’t risk yours or anyone else’s safety on the road
✅ brake linings
✅machined drums
✅wheel cylinders
✅replaced damaged brake hoses
✅correct shoe retainers
❌nails as split pins

Got called to a breakdown on the side of the highway the other week a 80s model hino bus that was refusing to build air pressure to release the brakes after a few tests and some head scratching found the main supply line from the wet tank to the primary tank was blocked after a trip back to town and a few favours on a Friday afternoon was able to get a flex line and a few fittings made up to replace the whole steel section to get the customer back home to country nsw

John deer 450c was leaking coolant into the oil, customer had replaced the oil cooler and head gasket already, a quick pressure test found a hole in the liner.
✅In chassis overhaul
✅new liners bearings and pistons
✅turbo sent away to be overhauled
✅new gaskets bolts and a few perished hoses replaced
