On Saturday night we had the Motor Sports Club of Tasmania 2024 awards presentation dinner. It was a great night that started with a nice afternoon social car cruise through Sheffield, over Roland, through mole Creek and into Deloraine for dinner at the Deloraine Football Club.
Bryce managed to secure 1st place junior awd in khanacross and 2nd place junior in motorkhana 💪 so proud of him. He puts up a huge fight in our car that lacks a bit compared to some of the other competitors out there.
Corey managed to secure 2nd outright for motorkhana
And received the Scott Hewitt memorial award.

So I was looking for some adjustable camber top plates for our zze122r Toyota corolla tarmac race car. I couldn't find any listed for them available. So I decided to take the risk on buying some listed for the same year range toyota celica hoping it might pay off and they would work after checking the measurements listed 🤞
Well I fitted them this week and they fitted perfectly 💪 winning 👌

So yesterday Rachel Baxter and I got to do our first Khanacross in the RS impreza at the new KANA X PARK at Symmons Plains (this place has come up amazingly) Our first go at awd.
Rachel finished 2nd female less than a second behind 1st female and 21st overall out of 51 drivers.
I managed a top 10 placing finishing in 9th overall.
So we are very pleased with that for our first outing.

Well wow what a massive weekend of racing for the 2021 Tasmania khanacrosschampionship. Was so much fun 😍 I have to start by saying a massive massive thankyou to everyone who helped organise and run the event, officials etc 🙌👏

So results from our $400 mighty little corolla:
1,2,3 class C finish 🙌
Corey finished up 1st in class C, 4th fastest 2wd & 9th overall.
Rachel finished up 2nd female, 2nd class C, 7th fastest 2wd & 19th overall
Bryce drove so darn well! I'm so proud of him 😍 he finished in 2nd Junior, 3rd class C, 30th overall

So this year we decided to run radial tyres in khanacross instead of rally tyres due to the Aus titles in October we have to run radials to be in production car class...
Today was our first outing with them and had a great day, was lots of fun
Rachel drove great all day I'm very proud of how she is getting faster and faster and doing a great job at controlling the car on the gravel.
I managed to finish 1st in tje radial class and 18th overall out of 35 entries
