⁉️ DID YOU KNOW ⁉️

Modern vehicle paint can be surprisingly thin.

I’ve measured brand new cars with total paint readings as low as 50 microns.

To put that into perspective, a standard sheet of paper is roughly 100 microns thick.

And that paint reading isn’t just clear coat — it includes the primer, colour and clear coat combined.

That’s why protecting new paint early can make a lot of sense.

Every day your paint is exposed to things like:

• UV and harsh WA sun
• Bird droppings
• Bugs and tree sap
• Road grime and contamination
• Regular washing and drying

A ceramic coating adds a sacrificial protective layer over the factory paint, helping reduce what the paint itself has to deal with.

It also makes the surface much slicker and easier to clean, while improving gloss and water behaviour.

Ceramic coating won’t make paint indestructible, and it won’t stop stone chips — but it can make maintaining and preserving a good finish considerably easier.

The best time to protect your paint is before it needs fixing.

3 days of cutting and polishing.

This Winnebago came in with heavily oxidised gel coat that had lost its gloss over the years.

After three days of correction, the finish has been brought back to life with a deep shine and clarity.

These jobs take time, but the transformation makes it worth every hour.

Big changes are coming!

When I first started this business, it was only meant to be a part-time venture focused on looking after my local community. That’s where the original name Elite Rural Detailing came from.

Since then, thanks to all of your support, the business has grown into my full-time career. I’m now regularly travelling all over Perth and the surrounding metro areas, so it feels like the right time for a name that better reflects where the business is today.

While the name is changing, everything else stays the same—same owner, same attention to detail, and the same commitment to delivering the best results possible.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported me along the way. I’m excited for this next chapter! 👊

Another brand new vehicle protected and ready to hit the road.

We’ve been a little quiet on social media lately, but it’s been for a good reason — we’ve been flat out behind the scenes keeping our amazing customers happy.

Like this D-MAX, you may use the car for 4WD’ing and your not concerned with light swirls and scuffs, but still want the protection and ease of maintenance that come with a ceramic coating. This option is for you, priced at $1250.

We get the car in and assess if there are any areas that require extra attention, then progress with a thorough wash, paint decontamination, and a single-stage machine polish focused on preparing the paint for coating, not perfection. We then rewash the vehicle, IPA clean the paint, and apply 2 layers of OPTiX ceramic coating.
