Sunday's fine spring weather brought out 19 Alfas and a total of 30 attendees to the clubs' Show & Shine. The line-up ranged from immaculate classics to modern cars.

For the dedicated members of the Alfa Owners Club WA, the event was the perfect way to share their passion with fellow car enthusiasts as well as the public.

This event has truly become a core part of our club identity.

A massive thank you to everyone who came out, participated, judged & organised.

A fantastic New Members Night!
It was great to see such a strong turnout at our New Members Night, including around 10 of our newer members who we had the chance to introduce to everyone during the evening.
The cocktail-style format worked brilliantly, with plenty of food, drinks and conversation, and most importantly, lots of mixing between new and long-standing members.
We’ve received some really lovely feedback since the night, which is always nice to hear.
Thanks to everyone who came along and helped make our newest members feel so welcome. We hope to see plenty of you again at upcoming club events!
And next year, someone please remember to take a photo while we’re interviewing the new members! 😄

Grand Elizabethan Run – Sunday 13 September 🇮🇹🚗

A fantastic turnout for today’s Grand Elizabethan Run, with 31 members and guests enjoying a scenic drive through the hills followed by lunch together.

We had 18 Alfa Romeos along for the day, representing a great mix of old and new – including a 2000 GTV, three GTV6s, a 159 Sportwagon, several Spiders, plus the newer generation of Stelvio, Giulias and an Alfa Romeo Junior.

It was a terrific day of great roads, beautiful cars and plenty of good conversation along the way.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a success. We look forward to seeing you on the next club run!

A great turnout for the AROCA WA AGM last night. Thanks to everyone who came along and helped us wrap up another fantastic year for the Club. 🇮🇹🍀

A big thank you to our outgoing Committee members and to everyone who has volunteered, organised events, lent a hand or simply come along and supported the Club over the past year.

We’d also like to welcome our incoming Committee and wish them all the best for the year ahead. We’re looking forward to another great year for AROCA WA, including Alfesta 2027 in Busselton!

Thanks to all our members for making AROCA WA such a great club to be part of.

"The day started with cold, grey skies and a light drizzle dampening the tarmac as 53 registered drivers tackled the Mt Brown Hill Climb. Both spectators and participants appreciated the unique bush setting, where the sound of vintage engines blended with the natural landscape for a memorable weekend.

The day was great and lots of fun. The Triumph Sports Owners Association of WA (TSOAWA) organised the event very well. Many thanks to the TSOAWA!"

What a weekend! Great roads, great cars, great people – and even the weather played its part for our Nordy Weekend in the Valley.

We kicked things off on Friday night at Nicola’s Restaurant, where Deepak surprised Zahra with a birthday cake, before heading into the Ferguson Valley on Saturday. Highlights included Wellington Dam, Collie’s Three Mineworkers Mural, establishing our very own little AROCA WA settlement at Gnomesville – complete with a 4C – followed by lunch at Bush Shack Brewery and dinner at Silos.

Sunday took us from Bunbury’s Back Beach to Dardanup Bakery, around the southern end of Wellington Dam and on to Aidan’s property near Collie. A shed tour soon became two shed tours, after we popped next door to visit Gary's shed, which included several Delta Integrales under restoration and a wonderfully quirky 1.5L twin-carb Alfa 33 wagon, which Joe and Deepak were only too happy to road-test!

We finished the weekend in convoy to Wokalup for lunch at Brugan Brewery.

Numbers came and went over the three days, but at our peak we had nine Alfas and 16 people enjoying the weekend together.

A terrific few days of driving, food, cars and good company. Thanks to everyone who came along and helped make it such an enjoyable weekend.

Already looking forward to the next AROCA WA weekend away!

August Member Night at the Clubrooms

AROCA WA members gathered at our Light Car Club clubrooms on Tuesday, 4 August, for our monthly Member Night.

The evening began with a presentation on the results of our recent Member Event Preferences Survey, including what members told us they enjoy most and the types of activities they would like to see more of. This was followed by a preview of the club’s busy events calendar from August through to December.

The Event Preferences Survey Results presentation is available to view under the News tab on the AROCA WA website:

Andrew Murray then spoke about the upcoming Little Italy Festival at Optus Oval, where AROCA WA has been invited to showcase a selection of Alfa Romeos throughout the festival. We have a minimum of six display spaces allocated to the club each day and are still looking for additional cars.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the evening. There is plenty happening across the club over the coming months, and we look forward to seeing members at our upcoming events.

🇮🇹 Interested in displaying your Alfa at the Little Italy Festival? Please complete the expression-of-interest form or contact the club for further details. https://alfaclubwa.org.au/little-italy-august-2026/

Our Christmas in July run to the Ravenswood Hotel was a great success, bringing together 30 enthusiastic members and a lively mix of classic and modern Alfa Romeos.

The convoy made an impressive sight during the drive and at the mid-point coffee stop.

Members enjoyed a relaxed, festive lunch at the Ravenswood, with plenty of time to chat, compare cars, and share Alfa ownership stories. The range of vehicles on display sparked lively conversations, from favourite drives to the rewards of keeping these iconic Italian machines on the road.

The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of Christmas-in-July cheer. Everyone clearly enjoyed the day, the company, and the chance to celebrate a shared passion for Alfa Romeo.

Events like this show what makes AROCA WA special: good people, great drives, and a community united by the cars we love.

We look forward to seeing everyone on the next run.

Thanks to the organising team: Ryoko, Neil, Sam and Enzo.
