A common issue we are seeing is the engine wiring harness rubbing through on top of the timing cover. As part of our services moving forward, we will be checking and securing all harnesses where necessary to help prevent this issue and avoid potential headaches for our customers down the track.

2015 Ford Ranger 3.2L

During a routine service, we found the all too common throttle body intercooler hose had split. While repairing the issue, we also found the hose had been rubbing against a coolant heater hose, causing premature wear.

Both faults were rectified same day, ensuring this vehicle was ready and reliable for a big work trip down south.

Catching issues like these during regular servicing can help prevent unexpected breakdowns and costly repairs on the road
