Camshaft Production - new information

As is well known, that the main supplier of camshafts for many brands, including Mitsubishi has shut down ending years of of frustration with slow supply.

Unfortunatly for many people, this has now mean't zero supply for all of our older and less popular Non Evo engines including older 4G32, 4G63, 4G54 and of course later 6G72, 6G74 and 6G75 engines.

Not wanting to revert back to the old and very unreliable days of hard welding and regrinding stock camshafts, we are instead investing back into getting brand new billets made and providing new camshaft.

We will be starting with the ever reliable Mitsubishi 4G54 engine, then followed by the Mitsubishi 4G69 Mivec and then the 6G7 SOHC 24v engines.

So we are ready to start getting our first batch of camshafts made, which will only be available as either

* 4G54 Roller Rocker Hydraulic & Flat Tappet - Paris-Dackar Profile 270/265 @ 0.300" cam lift - Naturally Aspirated all round performance.

* 4G54 Roller Rocker Hydraulic & Flat Tappet - Stage 2 Turbo 272 @ 0.348" cam lift

We will also be making brand new billet roller rocker adjustable tappet rockers, this way these two camshafts can be fitted to every model cylinder head on the market.

We expect pricing to be in the $900 range for each camshaft. Rocker arms not included in that pricing. Since we have to make 40 of each camshaft, its a big undertaking for a small firm like ourselves.

So this is both a public notice so that people know what we are up to, but also an expression of interest in people wanting to step this up to the next stage of a group buy.

If we can have at least 10 of each cam presold - it will give us the stability to invest and get these camshafts back into the market. I welcome any questions regarding these and if your interested, add to this post and give us some enthusiasm to make this a viable future project.

Honda Jazz GE 1.5 ECU remapping now available.

Pretty happy with our first checks on remapping these vehicles. Performed our first test run today with editing and flashing the ECU and it worked perfectly with no issues.

Working through the maps now to get a feel for them and now ready to start bringing vehicles in to dyno tune and get some great results out of them.

Already seeing several area's where they can be improved with OEM features like

* Differnent rpm limiters in different gears especially 3rd gear which is nearly 1000 rpm lower than other gears
* Can turn off rear o2 sensor errors related with aftermarket exhaust upgrades
* Much improved drive by wire maps to make them more zippy and remove the need for a throttle controller.

Our test car is a supercharged unit which has had the piggy back system / extra injector which is all removed and being replaced with larger main injectors, replace the MAP sensor with a 3 bar unit and then retune to suit, with potential boost increase.

Pretty excited as our expansion into remapping a larger range of stock ECU systems which include the Honda and Toyota range.

Toyota Aurion 50 series (GSV50R) - ECU programming just around the corner.

This may be a little premature but we have just successfully cracked the ECU from a Doner ECU and have built a file from it. The next step is to speak with my programmers to develop the tuning file and parameters, and we will then be in a position to offer reflashing services for all future customers.

We are already able to provide these same services for the Toyota Arion 40 Series (GSV40R).

With the addition of the new software we have purchased and some other developers, we are expanding the range of Toyota ECU's we can do this for.

We will be attempting to crack a Toyota Landcruiser 105 V8 Series tomorrow and the proceed with the same process. This will be especially beneficial for those doing supercharger conversions no longer needing to do aftermarket ECU or piggy back installations anymore.

As we get further developments we will let update accordingly.

Mitsubishi 6G75 SOHC 24v Mivec Performance Springs

We have finally completed research on the 6G75 SOHC 24v Mivec springs found in the Mitsubishi USA Galant 4G / Eclipse 4G vehicles and the Mitsubishi Pajero vehicles.

These are a direct drop in spring with no modifications required and will work with naturally aspirated and forced induction applications.

We are researching a double valve spring application right now with titanium retainers, but this would only be applicable for extreme modified engines only.

Mitsubishi Legnum / Galant 6A13 Turbo Front Pipe Kits nearly in stock

Good news to all those who have been waiting for these to arrive, we have just received notification that they will be arriving into Australia and clearing customs within the next few weeks.

We hope to begin finalising existing orders for the group buy within 3 weeks time. With 40 units coming, we have plenty of spares for new orders, although not at the group buy price. Pricing will be updated on our site once all new costs are taken into account.

Mitsubishi Magna / Galant 3G / Eclipse 3G Final Drive Kits - 4.670 : 1 Ratio

With the continued expansion of Mitsubishi Magna vehicles in Australia being used in both Speedway and Circuit racing events, and also within the USA, Racing Performance Works is looking to begin manufacturing final drive kits.

* Suits the Gearbox Model F5M51-1-F5N (FWD Only) 1996+

To make these we have to manufacture a minimum of 30 units, so we are looking for at least 10 confirmed orders before we can begin this.

We have chosen the 4.670 : 1 ratio as the optimum size to suit all applications as well as fit directly into the gearbox without requiring any modifications for its increased diameter as per speedway rules.

Employment available for Trade Assistant

We are currently short staffed and there is a position available for a general trade assistant on a casual basis, but can lead to long term full time depending upon the person.

We are fully open to taking an incoming backpacker for a short term 3 month employment as well to aid with your visa requirements.

Work will mostly be workshop duties including cleaning, washing and aiding where required on motor vehicles where an extra hand is needed.

Anyone training with tafe for there mechanical certificate are definitely welcome to apply for some paid work experience (Potential permanent employment is definitely on the cards).

Hours and days are flexible but we can guarantee at least 10 - 15 hours a week minimum. If you are interested please forward your resume through to us at [email protected].

Whilst mechanical experience is not a necessity, some level of workshop style work would get priority.

Mitsubishi 4G32 Rear Wheel Drive extractors are coming back into stock.

Own an old Mitsubishi Lancer, Galant or Sigma with the ever popular 4G32 engine in both belt and chain drive (Rear wheel drive only)

We have our long tube 4-1 units made to suit both applications.

4G32/33/37 belt drive engines use what is called the round port design.

4G32/33 Chain drive engines are a little more difficult as they can come in both Round and Square port designs, with also variations in stud widths.

Now we have had stocks of the Square ports for a while now, but the round port design, is by far the more popular and we new stock is arriving in February 2026. Due to only making 10 units in this batch, we only have 5 additional units unsold.
