BNEC have been the main electrical contractor in various parts of one of Rio Tinto Iron Ore's milestone projects the "Rail Capacity Expansion Project". BNEC completed the electrical, instrumentation and communications installation of "Trip Services Facility (Locomotive re-fueling station)" at 10kp Cape Lambert,
the electrical and communication installation of the Rail Response offices for the "Autohaul project" this rail line runs from Tom Price to the port facility at Dampier and
the electrical repair of Area lighting at Cape Lambert port facility after cyclone damage in 2013. We are currently performing Electrical and Communications installation of the 7 Mile RSM Workshop upgrade for Atlas Rail. This project is the installation of a new automation facility for maintaining Rio Tinto's ore cars and locomotives and involves a vast amount of communication and commissioning activities. Whilst the majority of our work is in the mining and resource sector we also provide domestic, commercial and light industrial installations in Perth and the surrounding area's.
