⭐️ Meet the new Tenstar Driving Simulator ⭐️

The tool we now use to deliver SIM360, our simulation-based driver training program, to parents, young drivers, and organisations.

Complete with screen-based driving or a VR headset for full immersion.

A rig that moves to simulate wildlife strikes, running off the road, hitting an object, or losing control.

And the ability to confront drivers with different hazards, on different roads, and in different conditions, that they’re likely to encounter in real life, without the real risk.

One of our directors, Tacticool Anthony, has been over in Dubai representing Soteria360 • Driver Training at the GISEC 2026 conference - the largest and most influential cybersecurity conference in the Middle East.

Day two, and the conversation at our stand kept coming back to the same thing.
Not cybersecurity, but road safety, our driver awareness program and the Tenstar simulator.

Fleet operators, government reps and training providers from across the Gulf all told a version of the same story.

- Young drivers.
- Distracted drivers.
- Workplace vehicle incidents.

And no realistic way to train someone for the moments that matter before they happen on a live road.

Turns out the problem we’ve been working on here in Perth isn’t just an Australian problem.

It’s a global one.

Anthony spent time in the Australian pavilion with Australia’s Ambassador to the UAE, Ridwaan Jadwat, and Deputy Head of Mission Jay Sangani, who were both engaged and asked the kind of questions that show they understand where WA capability fits in this region.

Thanks to Invest and Trade Western Australia, Aziz Saba, Amber Abrahams, Malika Bali and Austrade for making it possible for a Perth business to be standing here at all.

The Road Ready program is our 1 hour school presentation on road safety for Year 11 and 12 students.

Most young drivers can recite the rules, but knowing the rules and knowing how to read a situation are completely different skills.

So during the presentation we get students thinking about what to look for, what’s likely to happen next, and what to do about it before it becomes a decision they have to make behind the wheel.

This week, our team presented at Ocean Reef Senior High School and we truly appreciate the lovely feedback.

Other drivers behave differently around a truck.
They’ll overtake and undertake in ways they wouldn’t try around a car, working off what they can see of you, not what you can see of them.

This is exactly the kind of situation SIM360 can put a driver in deliberately, rather than waiting for it to happen on a real highway with real consequences attached.

It’s not just this one scenario either.
The same environment can put a driver into rain, fog, heavy traffic, low light, an unexpected hazard on a country road, whatever conditions actually match how your fleet operates.

The value isn’t watching it happen.
It’s that the driver gets to make the mistake, get corrected on the spot, and run it again straight away, without a truck, a road or another vehicle anywhere near real risk.

Yesterday we had the privilege of welcoming Samantha Saffioti to the Constable Care Foundation Foundation Safety School.

Sam is one of the most important voices in road safety in Western Australia. Her advocacy led to Tom’s Law, named in honour of her son Tom, which now limits red P-plate drivers to one passenger and is protecting young lives across our state every single day.

We spent the morning walking Sam through what Soteria360 • Driver Training are building in driver education and where we’re trying to take it, and hearing her perspective on what young drivers and their families need.

What she’s fighting for and what we’re working toward point in the same direction: fewer families getting that dreaded knock on the door.

We stand with Sam and behind the change she’s driving. Having her walk through our doors was an honour, and a reminder of why this work matters and who it’s really for.

Speed sense is one of the first things we look at, and it's where a lot of drivers have a gap they don't know about.

Most people were taught to read the sign and stay under it. They weren't taught that there may be times the marked speed limit is inappropriate for the conditions.

So on your next drive, when the view closes up, ask yourself how fast you can safely deal with whatever happens next.

If you don't like the answer, you're going too fast, even if you're under the limit.

What we’d love even more than the coverage is the conversation it could start. We’d genuinely welcome government coming to see this technology firsthand, and sitting down with us and Constable Care Foundation Foundation to talk about how we bring the WA road toll down together.

More than anything, we’d love to see government look to the people in industry who do this work every day, and back the initiatives being built by those with the real knowledge and experience to make a genuine difference.

The invitation stands.
