Group Update
Hey Cartel crew
Quick update on what we have cooking in the background for SPL Cartel.
I’ve been slowly getting around to the car audio shops and associated businesses that I think may benefit mutually from the Cartel running a meet at their premises but more importantly building repour and relationships back with the business owners. Still plenty more to get around to yet. The intent is to have a good selection of stores and businesses to run events with a little bit of extra spice at, where we all get something out of. Its a great time to get our hobby and passion back into a thriving vibrant scene. If you are in our group and have friends in the industry that may be interested, reach out as id love to have a chat to them.
THE AUDIO GARAGE- we are heading back to the Audio Garage in Malaga on the 25th June for another meet with Julian and the Crew, tell your mates and let’s get-together and make some noise- event invite is up
OLD SCHOOL CAR AUDIO- had a great chat with Craig Harrison from Old School Car Audio and we look forward to building a relationship with Craig. New to Perth but been around the scene on the East coast for years,. Some may already know him but he is building a killer workshop in Malaga and is a wealth of knowledge in the design, construction and tuning of systems that we can tap into. Distributor for Sound Digital and Image Dynamics , once he has finished the workshop we will be looking to have special event for his opening. Check out his page for updates.
FREE DB- next months meet for July will be down with the crew at Free Db in Myree, should be a great meet , more to come on what we have installed for the day, lock in Sat 23rd JULY
Alt-Tech- After talking to the crew at Alt-tech Solutions in Welshpool we have now get a discount for group members when we shop there. Great source for your 0 gauge wire, lithium, supercaps, electrical fittings etc. Check out their page, and I’ll have a code in the near future for us to use in store.
Custom Cars and Coffee events- as some of you may know, I also run the Custom Cars and Coffee events in Perth, we are kicking our monthly events back off in July, this is a great opportunity for us to get the cars out in the public eye at large events and create a scene within a scene. I am keen to accommodate a crew and give the space for the cars, its a great opportunity to attract new people to our hobby. Ill put a post up each time we are on to see who’s in.
MOTORVATION – we will be helping with the running of the Car Audio comp at Motorvation 37 in Feb next year, we have kicked off the initial planning process with the crew from WACA but its time to starting thinking about entering. Summernats crew have stipulated no 4wds but we will looking for neat cars with tidy installs to represent the Cartel. More to come as we go, but if your keen, register your interest and let’s get a bunch of cool installs going.
That will do for now, but rest assured we are working hard in the background to create an environment in which our scene can grow and evolve back to being something special. Jump on board, support, get involved and enjoy the ride.
