Something BIG is happening here at Ampol Penguin… it’s truly the END OF AN ERA! 🥹
KERRIE-ANNES LAST DAY WILL BE THE 30th JUNE 🥺
After 17 incredible years of owning the servo, Kerrie-Anne has decided to pass the reins on to a young family who have also proudly been part of the team for the past 4 years.
Over the years, Kerrie-Anne has grown Ampol Penguin into the vibrant, welcoming, slightly chaotic — but always loving — place we all know today. It’s more than just a service station. It’s where locals stop for a chat and a check-in, where travellers make it their favourite stop, and where customer service always comes first. Whether it was helping someone fill up their car or finding the perfect gift for that hard-to-buy-for person, Kerrie-Anne always went above and beyond.
She has watched the children of this town grow up — and now they come back to fill up their own cars. What a bittersweet moment that is 🥹
Not only did she create a warm and caring place for customers, but she also built an amazing workplace for her staff. Over the years, many team members have come and gone, whether they were here for a season or a reason. Kerrie-Anne always lived by one simple motto: treat people how you would like to be treated. And she truly did. From thoughtful gifts, to trips away, to always bringing back goodies whenever she travelled — she constantly made her staff feel valued and appreciated 🥰
As of the 1st of July, myself (Rachel) and my little family will officially be taking over Ampol Penguin. We feel so incredibly lucky and honoured that Kerrie-Anne has trusted us to continue her legacy and be part of the next chapter of this amazing community business.
Thank you, Kerrie-Anne, for being my mentor, my boss, and my friend. ❤️
Here’s to celebrating everything you have built, while looking forward to an exciting new chapter for Ampol Penguin.
