Customer called about their car suddenly feeling like it's going to break down while driving back home. They became to scared to drive it as it was spontaneously very rough at idle, and threw an engine light.
Came by to check if it could be a quick diagnose and fix on the spot.
After having a look at the ECU with the scan tool, we determined the MAF sensor was not reading correctly.
We gave it a clean with the correct cleaner, as sometimes that is all the fixing this particular sensor requires.
We were unsuccessful fixing the old sensor by cleaning it, but was able to source a replacement the next day.
Cleared all codes after replacing the sensor, and took this cx5 for a test drive straight after

Your car shows signs when the battery is on its way out. Sometimes it could die much quicker then expected, before you're ready to have time to replace it.
Batteries have a normal life spam of 2 to 4 years these days. So it's important to be aware of these signs so you don't get stuck somewhere without help.
Usual signs include:
- Struggle start, will crank for longer then normal.
- Dash lights flicker when turning car on.
- Can effect vehicle overall performance.

Intermediate service completed on this BT50, due to excessive driving conditions.
Installed secondary fuel filter previously, customer has since decided to have us install a catch can, to prolong the engine and surrounding components life.
This is a cheap insurance to prevent oil deposits building up in turbo charging system and inlet manifold.

💥UPDATE💥

Diagnosed a broken window regulator on this Santa Fe, was the cause for the window suddenly dropping. This is common on older vehicles. Customer opted for us to search for a second hand window regulator as replacement. It was easy enough to find, but needed to wait for its arrival in the mail.
Replacement second hand window regulator was fitted and tested.

💥UPDATE💥

For those following along, we now have an update on this Nissan cubes repairs.
List of repairs made are:
- Coil 3 was replaced to fix the heavy misfire.
- Rear shoes replaced from excessive wear that also caused a leak.
- Rear wheel cylinders replaced due to leaking brake fluid.
- Rear drums were machined, to promote even wear and smoother stop.
- Front pads replaced, as they were getting low and worn unevenly.
- Machined front rotors, for a smoother surface and to avoid brake shudder while slowing down to a stop.
- Front and rear wipers were replaced.
- Brake fluid system flush.
Afterwards we gave the car a quick wash and polished one of the headlights to take away the yellowing tinge.
We notified the owner of the on non urgent future repairs the car will need eventually once we test drove and checked through the vehicle again.

Got a call in the afternoon about this customers window suddenly dropping down and not going back up.
We were happy to inspect the problem, as we wouldn't want them to have a window left down through the night.
After pulling the door trim off and visually inspecting the inside of the door, we found the windows regulator cable had snapped. Which for older cars in very common.
We were able to source a replacement second hand regulator for this model, but we needed to wait for its arrival through the post.
While we wait for its arrival, we propped the window up safely. Tune in for when we replace this windows regulator.

Major service done on this Nissan cube.
This service included:
- Engine oil and filter replaced
-Transmission service and filter replaced
- Engine air filter replaced
- Aircon filter replaced
- Spark plugs replaced
- Battery test
- Service reminder sticker
- Tyre pressures
- Vehicle check over
Apon booking in for a service, Vehicle owner was aware it had some issues that needed fixing as it was no longer driving well.
We found the car was driving rough with a heavy misfire. After replacing the spark plugs, we found that cylinder 3 spark plug had more wear then the rest. This was caused by cylinder 3 coil pack being burnt out. We had also found it was desperate for brakes to be replaced as the rears were leaking brake fluid from excessive wear.
Customer was quoted and booked in for additional repairs to be made soon after.

Good morning followers!
We haven't really gone anywhere over the years, but we have made some changes to the business.

The biggest change, due to now being a new little family is, we no longer provide mobile services.
We do still offer pre purchase vehicle checks, for your peace of mind.
We also do still offer minor diagnostic checks at your door also.
Any minor or major services are now based in Western Sydney Mount druitt. If you're local we can offer a pick up and drop off service included in your cars booking.

Recent service on this RWD Dmax, as part of a fleet that we look after.
200,000km log book service that required a few extras to be done, to keep up maintenance.

All services always include: Battery testing, fluid top up and general inspection. We have been servicing this particular vehicle for some time now. Because of our inspections we were already aware that it was going to need rear brakes replaced this service.
Log book service:
- Replaced engine oil and filter
- Replaced brake fluid
- Replaced engine air filter
- Replaced air conditioning filter
- Replaced rear Differential oil
Additionals:
- Replaced rear brake shoes and drums
- Power steering full service

Follow up from the most recent service. Battery was on its last legs and required replacement. Customer was happy to have us supply and fit the battery.
With each new battery we do a test for your peace of mind, we give you the print out of the dated test for any warranty the new battery may come with.
