WESTERN SYDNEY SPEEDWAY - OPEN PRACTICE

Western Sydney Speedway will host an Open Practice on Saturday, 3rd October 2026, with an afternoon and evening of action on track!

Open to all Speedway Australia car classes, this Open Practice gives competitors plenty of track time to test, practice, fine-tune and prepare ahead of the upcoming season of competitive race events.

Bring the family along, settle in trackside and enjoy an action-packed Saturday night of Speedway.

TICKET PRICES:
▶Competitor: $200 + 2 Crew
▶Pit Pass: $50
▶Kids in Pits (Aged 5-17): $30 Online
▶Adult Spectator: $20 Online
▶Youth/Aged Concession: $10 Online
▶Children under 12: FREE – Spectator area only.
▶Highline Lounge: $50

ALLOCATION EXHAUSTED!

The response to the 2026 SSA GO Travel Fund has been outstanding, with competitors from across Australia taking advantage of the initiative to help offset the costs of travelling to events across the country.

As a result of the incredible demand, we can now confirm that the 2026 SSA GO Travel Fund allocation has been fully exhausted.

We sincerely thank everyone who applied and hope the funding assists competitors in making the journey to their respective events.

The overwhelming response highlights just how valuable this initiative is to our members, and we appreciate the continued support shown for the program.

Safe travels to all competitors, and we look forward to seeing you at the track!

Expressions of Interest Now Open – Join the Technical and Specifications Committee (TASC).

Do you have the passion, experience and vision to help shape the future of Speedway Sedans Australia?

SSA is now seeking Expressions of Interest from individuals wishing to contribute to the TASC Committee, either as a Full Committee Member or as an Industry Subject Matter Expert (SME).

This is an exciting opportunity to play an active role in the ongoing development of our sport by:

- Providing technical expertise and industry knowledge

- Assisting in the review and development of technical specifications

- Contributing to discussions that help shape the future of Speedway Sedans Australia

- Working alongside passionate volunteers from across the country

Whether you're interested in taking on a committee role or willing to provide transparent industry proven specialist advice in a particular area, we'd love to hear from you!

2028 Title Submissions Reminder!

A reminder to all clubs that Expressions of interest from venues wishing to host 2028 Speedway Sedans Australia National Titles close on the 31st of August!

If your club/track wants the chance to host:

2028 SSA National Junior Sedan Title
2028 SSA National Street Stock Title
2028 SSA National Production Sedan Title
2028 SSA National Modified Sedan Title
2028 SSA National Super Sedan Title

Then contact the Speedway Sedans Australia office at [email protected] as soon as possible to obtain a submission form. Please indicate which Title or Titles you wish to apply for.

This is your last opportunity to bring a National Title to your venue in 2028, so quick sticks!!

Don't leave your vehicle registration to the last minute!

As the new season approaches, we are seeing an increase in vehicle registration applications. So don’t leave yours until race week...
Please allow time for your application to be processed and your logbook to arrive.

Before starting your online registration:
- Check that all required paperwork is current, completed correctly and ready to upload.
- Your new logbook will be sent directly to YOU via your nominated postal address. If your postal address is different from your residential address, please add the correct details using the additional postal address line.
- Carefully check all information before submitting your application to help avoid unnecessary delays.
