This particular example (Build No. SPO1691) spent its early life under historic registration in Arizona before being imported to Australia by its current owner in 2007 under the pre-1989 method. It has been meticulously maintained under full, continuous NSW registration for the past 19 years, showing just ~11,300 total original miles (2,807 in the US and 8,500 miles since).
Finished in striking PPG Galaxy Blue with Wimbledon White stripes, the car features the trade mark polished stainless-steel single-braced roll bar, a chromed brass windscreen frame, plexiglass wind wings, and an alloy flip-top fuel filler with a locking cap.
Drivetrain & Performance:
The "Turn Key" car was expertly paired with a custom-built, period-correct 1965 428FE Ford Big Block engine and a Tremec TKO 5-speed manual gearbox (fitted with an authentic 4-speed shift k**b)
Engine Specs: 1965 FE block, 428 crank, Eagle H-beam rods (ARP bolts), TRW forged pistons, and a Crower solid camshaft.
Induction & Heads: Edelbrock Performer RPM alloy heads with roller rockers, a 2x4 aluminum manifold, and twin 650cfm Holley carburetors beneath original-style Stelling & Hellings air cleaners.
Cooling & Ignition: Factory aluminium radiator with thermo fans/shroud, original-style chromed copper header tank, MSD 6AL system with billet distributor, and a remote oil filter with an oil cooler.
Gearbox & Drivetrain: Tremec TKO 5-speed running a McLeod clutch inside a protective Lakewood scatter-shield bellhousing, delivering power to a Ford Motorsport IRS 8.8” differential (3.7:1 ratio)

Brakes & Suspension: Wilwood brakes all round, front and rear quick jacks.
Cabin: Factory-style leather seats with ADR-approved harness belts, Wilton wool carpeting, MotoLita 16” wood-rimmed steering wheel, alloy AC pedals, and a full suite of Smiths gauges (including the iconic counter-clockwise speedometer).
