Hi all and welcome to our new followers.

Things are heating up at the shed (16/8 Dixon Cct) and from Wednesday this week you will be finding one of the BGM family at the shed from 8.30am till 4.30pm or later if needed.

A huge massive thank you to all our customers who have walked through our doors on our lengthy start up process. You’re not just a customer you are part of the BGM family now.

We are also engaging more on Facebook so if you have a question or looking for advice on your car send us a message and we will be happy to help you out.

Look out for our first post coming over the next few days or better still if there is something you would like to know feel free to message us. Stay tuned and hopefully we can make it through the school holidays starting on 19th September. Time to get that car tuned for the holidays 💙

Isuzu MU-X today for an intercooler hard pipe kit!

Upgrading to an intercooler hard pipe kit replaces flexible factory rubber or plastic hoses with rigid metal tubes. This prevents the pipes from expanding under pressure, stops boost leaks, improves throttle response, and ensures steady airflow to your engine. Plus they look great too 😜

I'm much happier with how this rig is boosting now, feels much more responsive and gets up and goes much better

VF Commodore in for a set of engine + gearbox mounts.

Worst I've ever seen, the drivetrain was literally just sitting in the car. No worries though, new set of mounts will sort that, all set in place, now this engine feels much smoother and the power delivery is on point!

A bad set of mounts will make your car vibrate profusely especially when idling at lights, they can cause damage to other components of the car too.

If you're feeling that vibration, get the car checked out as you may be due for mounts!

2016 Subaru Forester in today.

Wish you could hear/feel how bad this bearing was. Totally smoked.

Thankfully, we were able to locally source a new bearing and install it for the customer along with an Inner axle seal replacement, and a CVT transmission service.

If you are hearing a whooshing sound while driving your car, get it checked out ASAP. A faulty wheel bearing is a massive safety risk!

Two sets of control arms in today

One set for a Toyota Yaris

The other on a Nissan X-Trail

Both had worn out/split suspension bushings, and flogged out ball joints you could fling around with your pinky finger!

Both vehicles now fitted with brand new hardware. And that walking from one side of the road to the other is totally gone.

Suspension bushings and joints are critical to the way your vehicle drives down the road. Worn bushings/joints make for a terrible drive.

We had a Skoda Fabia in this week with a coolant leak and rattling sound from the engine bay.

Luckily the owner noticed it, came in early to get it checked and fixed. This quick and cheap water pump replacement could have turned into a multi thousand dollar repair very quickly if the engine had have overheated.

But no need to worry about that now. With a brand new quality Gates water pump and reseal of the housing, this customers coolant issues are a thing of the past.
