First photo shoot in the rain? Had to be done.

This black DENZA B5 came straight from the dealership into UBD for protection from day one.

We carried out a light correction to clean up the minor handover marks and deepen that beautiful black metallic finish before sealing it inside and out with Magnum Ceramic Coating .

Then the Perth weather decided to absolutely pour down.

Once the coating had properly cured, and with the client’s permission, we took it outside for a quick shoot… and honestly, the rain just made the result look even better.

Prep work is where the result starts.

Before any correction or ceramic coating goes down, the surface needs to be properly cleaned, decontaminated and prepared. Iron fallout, bonded contaminants, road grime and old residue all need to be removed so we’re working with a clean, honest surface.

No shortcuts.

Proper wash.
Full decontamination.
Paint inspection.
Then correction and protection.

Protected from day one.

This brand new BYD Shark came into UBD finished in black, and as anyone with a black car knows, every little mark shows.

Even though it was fresh from the dealership, the paint still needed correcting to remove the light swirls, handling marks and imperfections before any protection went down.

Once the finish was dialled in, we sealed it in Magnum Ceramic Coating to lock in the gloss, add long-term protection and make keeping that black paint looking sharp far easier.

Changing it up a bit with a Ranger Raptor

This 2026 Ford Ranger Raptor is only three weeks old and travelled around two hours south to UBD to get protected properly from the start.

We gave it the full treatment — complete decontamination, paint correction and then sealed it inside and out with Magnum Ceramic Coating to help keep that fresh finish glossy, protected and far easier to maintain long term.

There’s just something about these new Raptors. Tough, comfortable and seriously good-looking once they’re dialled in.

This one had a tune on it too and sounded great being moved around the shop.

This one nearly had us questioning whether to take it on.

This Mercedes-Benz C180 came into UBD with paintwork that was heavily swirled, oxidised and looking extremely tired. We knew from the first inspection that this was going to be a serious correction job.

Three stages of correction followed, with hours of slow, careful work to safely bring the finish back without chasing more than the paint could handle.

The result was huge.

Once the clarity, depth and gloss were restored, we sealed the C180 inside and out with Magnum Ceramic Coating , freshened everything up and had it sitting ready for collection within a solid 24-hour turnaround.

That turnaround matters to us. We know our clients still need to get back to work, family and daily life, so the goal is always to deliver the best possible result without keeping the car any longer than necessary.

This one was definitely tricky, but the end result made every hour worth it.

Check out the before photos on this one…

This black WRX came into UBD absolutely covered in heavy swirls and defects, with limited clear coat left to safely work with, so the correction process had to be approached carefully.

The team worked some serious magic.

After a full 3-stage correction, we managed to remove roughly 85–95% of the visible swirls and imperfections while preserving as much paint as possible.

Once the finish was revived, the depth and gloss came back in a huge way.

From there, we locked it all in with Magnum Ceramic Coating as part of our Platinum Package, protecting the car inside and out for the long haul.

This 2026 Ford Everest came into UBD straight from the dealership for protection from day one.

Before any coating went down, we carried out a light correction to remove those nasty dealership handover marks, light swirls and imperfections, bringing the paintwork up to the standard a brand new car should actually leave with.

This brand new 2026 Mazda 3 came into UBD for our Platinum Package, and before any protection went down, we made sure that paint was properly refined and looking its absolute best.
