Hello!
We are excited to share some updates for the 2026 National Rally in Cowra - the rally is now only 10 weeks away!
If you know of anyone who is still planning on entering, let them know that ENTRIES CLOSE JUNE 30th.
The entry form is available at vccansw.com/cowra
As we finalise the rally routes, we are aiming to keep off of the highways as much as possible. We will be encountering a few hills along the way.
If you have not yet supplied the details of the vehicle you will be bringing (Registration number, make and model), please send these details through to us so they can be included in the rally booklet.
If you have any questions, please get in touch by email to [email protected]

A run down of events -
Sunday 6th September
Registration will take place on Sunday afternoon at the Cowra Antique Vehicle Clubrooms at the Cowra Railway Station, Lynch St, Cowra. Times to be advised. Tea and coffee as well as information from the Tourist Information Centre will be available.
Sunday evening there will be a welcome reception at the Cowra Services Club.
Monday 7th September
Travelling to Carcoar via Woodstock and Mandurama, with morning tea served at Woodstock, and lunch at the Carcoar Royal Hotel.
Tuesday 8th September
Travel to Grenfell with morning tea on the way. Unfortunately we will not be able to visit Iandra Castle as planned due to major roof restorations. In Grenfell, you will have time to browse the many interesting local shops, including Jan Parlett's Country Experience. Or, you can take a tour of the Chrysler Museum. Lunch will be served in Grenfell at the Uniting Church Hall.
Wednesday 9th September
Wednesday will be a free day, giving you the opportunity to take in the many tourist attractions in Cowra and surrounding areas. We have arranged for the Lachlan Valley Railway Museum to be open for a couple of hours in the morning for those who are interested, and a high tea is being offered in the afternoon. We have decided not to have a public display in Cowra as we haven't been able to locate what we would consider a suitable and convenient venue. You could use the day to visit the Cowra Japanese Garden and Cultural Centre, the POW Hologram Theatre at the Tourist Information Centre, or the Cowra POW Camp.
Thursday 10th September
Travel to Canowindra. Morning tea and lunch will be BYO. While in Canowindra, have a look through the local shops or the world renowned Age of Fishes Museum. You may also wish to visit Rosnay Organic Winery on your way into town.
Friday 11th September
We will have morning tea prior to leaving town, travel to Wyangala Dam where we are hoping to have the opportunity to drive across the dam wall. Lunch will be served at the Wyangala Recreation Club.
Friday night will be the final dinner at the Cowra Services Club.
**Please note that this proposed itinerary is subject to change**
