Hare & Forbes Machineryhouse is back on board as a proud supporter of the Young Street Machine of the Year 2026 and they’re bringing Cars & Coffee back with them!

We’re hitting the road for four killer events across the country, giving YSMOTY entrants the perfect chance to show off their rides, meet fellow car lovers and, most importantly, drum up some extra votes! 👀🏆

🏁 AATAKK-M – #229 🏁

The extended family team is back in their mighty 1.3-litre Toyota Starlet nugget — still trying to break it, and still somehow finishing every race. 😂🔧

This little Toyota has survived everything they’ve thrown at it, including becoming what may be the first car in Budget Enduro history to spin on the out lap behind the Safety Car. 😬

The best part? We were already going slower than usual so the Starlet could keep up. 🤣

Armed with Sailun Atrezzos, 1300cc of fury and Toyota reliability that simply refuses to surrender, AATAKK-M are returning for another day of bouncing over kerbs, lifting wheels and attempting to finally discover the car’s breaking point. 🚗💨

AATAKK-M — too slow to escape, too reliable to die, and somehow always there at the finish. 🏁😂🔥

Service my car with me ~transmission edition~

Truthfully had been putting off the transmission due to time and well let’s be honest it’s pretty messy work. Thankfully dad was willing to help me with it, in the rain too (sorry dad) and we smashed it out.

This week 15th of June-21st of June is Men’s Health Week. Whilst this space I have created primarily focuses on supporting and helping Women, However, truthfully deeper down my passion lies with supporting everyone, no matter who you are. That’s why I wanted to take a moment to thank the men who supported me through thick and thin, those that said you can do it, those who gave me a chance (gave me jobs that were traditionally more suitable to male), those who helped fight the stereotypes, those who took the time to teach me something or correct me when I did/do not always get it right, those who say “she can”. Those who stood by me and taught me something much.

To those who have supported me whether it was years ago, yesterday or tomorrow. Thank you.

I appreciate you and I see you.

Monday we headed down to Philip island for Charity Drive Days 2026 May Event. In between Trysts track sessions I taxed the mighty polo that on this day wasn’t so mighty. Muffin unfortunately wasn’t getting boost to the turbo so this meant we were running on Sunday Grocery Shopping Specs 👵🐌
What makes the situation even funnier is I’ve only ever driven the car once on Sunday to the grocery store 500m away so the mechanical issues were quite fitting making for a slower cruisey track day
All jokes aside it was so much fun just getting out and enjoying the motor khana cross and most importantly all in the name of supporting Charity Drive Days.
Maybe next time I should bring the Morris and I can battle it out with .soulsco who freakin smashed it!! 😂

8 years ago today dad and I said “Why the F.ck not” and went halves in Holly our 1964 EH dad. Me and dad worked so bloody hard on it (98% him and probably 2% me) but that meant everything to me, he taught me so much and I’m so grateful for the time I got to spend just hanging out with him from being in the shed to 5am sitting passenger to 5pms chasing sunsets together driving side by side.
This day isn’t just a day of celebrating how far we have come with the car it’s a day of treasuring the blood, sweat and tears together.
Thanks dad (and mum for putting up with us lol)

This took a fair while of planning but today it paid off! Our race team now has an official logo and custom shirts. Each part of our racing journey has a meaning from the shirt colour down to the team number. It feels official now! Even better the timing couldn’t have been more perfect these rocked up this morning (all the from Texas, shoutout to for having long sleeve coloured shirts that are 100% cotton with logos that aren’t just stuck on and from order to door took only 2 weeks) I come home to find .jd had come down so not only did he surprise me, I got to surprise him with his shirt in which he didn’t know I had actually organised yet, in time for next race!
