My gloves had deteriorated and I had "new bike gloves" on my list.
Then I found the red ones, just missing the Velcro.
So the gel gloves donated the Velcro and now I have a functioning pair again!

You've got to admit, this is cuuuute! 🚲

My first attempt at a bike barrel bag (with the usual trial and error).
I never use a pattern, so that's how it goes!

The owl fabric is from a discarded shopping trolley I rescued from the side of the road.
The orange fabric is more of the waterproof work pants that just keep giving!
Lining fabric from my stash, piping from my op shop roll and bias binding scavenged from a high vis work jacket.
Webbing front and back from my extensive road treasure collection.
Removable bag strap from a recent donation.

You can strap this little beauty to your bike and easily remove it and add the bag strap. The webbing loops can be left on or removed and put inside the bag with your phone, keys, sunnies and snacks.

What do you think? Would anyone like a custom version? Price range probably $30-40.

The strap is from The Creamery second hand shop in Minlaton and is a perfect colour match! 💙 💙💙
The piping, zips and binding are all from my op shop stash.

Another croissant! 🥐

This one is made from a very old tapestry that was stapled to a wooden backboard and gifted to me by the lovely Roxanne.

I removed it from the backboard and gave it a good soak and iron and now this will continue to live on in this useful form. 🌺 🌹

Strap, lining fabric, zips, beads and bias binding are all from op shops.

Piping from a delicious vintage stash I bought on Marketplace and pocket fabric from the local Buy Nothing Group (a local seamstress destash).
Measuring 33x17cm at its widest points.

I tried to make this one a little smaller than the previous one, but it's pretty similar, measuring 40 X 30 X 10cm.

outdoor umbrella canvas,
waterproof work pants,

Made from garden umbrella canvas, waterproof work pants, a luggage strap, scavenged clips, zips and mesh from old school backpacks. With remaining parts from my stash, including a broken air mattress pocket.
